As a team of five we were briefed to produce a gender-neutral photostory for ASOS Magazine. Instead of featuring genders in stereotypically radical clothing we wanted to focus on more unisex styling to appeal to the ASOS consumer. Our editorial was called “Meet the Edwards’” and focused on siblings as we felt the roles in these relationships are more even. We were very casual in our photography approach to fit with the fun aesthetic of ASOS Magazine. The photostory is set in a bar to push the styling towards casual evening wear, something that we found not to be targeted by unisex clothing brands.
